The journal Revista Estud(i)os de Dança (RED) is a peer-reviewed publication of the Faculdade de Motricidade Humana, edited by the Dance Studies research group of the Instituto de Etnomusicologia - Centro de Estudos em Música e Dança - INET-md and the Centro de Estudos em Artes Performativas - CEAP.
RED prioritizes scientific dissemination and accepts article submissions in Portuguese, Spanish, and English in all areas of dance research. It is published online, with open access and double-blind peer review. It includes original scientific articles, thematic dossiers, and transdisciplinary works.

RED Announcement: Change in the Journal’s Direction and Editorial Leadership
We regret to inform you that, for personal reasons, Professor Maria João Alves has stepped down from her role as Director and Editor-in-Chief of RED – Revista Estud(i)os de Dança.
As a result, the review and publication processes for articles already submitted may experience some delay. The submission of new articles — with the exception of those already scheduled for the next issue — is temporarily suspended until a new Director of the journal is appointed.
